Duties
- Assist groomers with bathing, drying, brushing dogs to meet breed standards and owner preferences
- Safely handle dogs during grooming procedures using proper animal restraint techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and tools to ensure a hygienic environment
- Monitor dogs for signs of stress or discomfort and respond appropriately to keep pets calm and safe
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or assist with larger animals or crates
Requirements
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred
