We're seeking an accomplished technology leader to oversee and modernize a large-scale enterprise networking environment supporting critical public services. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving network strategy, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, operational excellence, and high-performing engineering teams across a complex enterprise environment.
Working closely with executive technology leadership, you'll shape the future of enterprise connectivity by leading initiatives involving data centers, cloud networking, network security, disaster recovery, and digital transformation.

What You'll Do
Enterprise Network Strategy
- Develop and execute enterprise networking strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive modernization initiatives across campus, data center, and cloud networking environments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative networking solutions.
Infrastructure Leadership
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and operation of enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, wireless, and cloud networking platforms.
- Ensure highly available, scalable, and resilient network services.
- Oversee network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Partner with security teams to strengthen enterprise network security.
- Oversee firewalls, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, secure remote access, and encryption technologies.
- Lead incident response, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor network engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships across IT and business stakeholders.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage strategic technology vendors and service providers.
- Lead contract negotiations and vendor performance reviews.
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost optimization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of enterprise networking and infrastructure experience.
- 5 years leading network engineering or infrastructure teams.
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking, cloud networking, network security, and data center technologies.
- Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and executive stakeholder communication.
Preferred
- Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking certifications
- Experience with large, highly available enterprise environments
- Public sector, healthcare, higher education, or other complex enterprise experience
- Experience leading digital transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
