HR professionals, this is your chance to join a small mission-driven, renowned non-profit organization with a long history of caring for our staff. We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in supporting our amazing and talented employees.
This position has a focus on employee relations, however you will also provide your expertise and guidance to managers and employees in the areas of HR Operations.
Human Resources Job Duties:
- Employee relations
- Training and development including oversight of our online learning management system (Relias)
- Recruiting, selecting,
- Orienting, training, coaching, counseling,
- Providing support to managers and staff as it relates to employee relations and Human Resources matters, assisting in conflict resolution between supervisors and staff, investigating claims of harassment of any kind and offering advice and resolution.
- Ensuring timely posting of all job openings, both internally and externally assisting supervisors with the interview process; and ensuring that all prospective candidates have the appropriate pre-hire screenings within the appropriate timeframes.
- Communicating changes in personnel policies and procedures to staff, and ensuring proper compliance.
- Ensuring that staff has completed all necessary paperwork and ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Supervising the payroll process that is completed
- Reports directly to Agency Director.

- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, HR Certification preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years generalist experience.
- The ability to deal diplomatically with all internal and external clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
