Connexus Hub is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to manage and modernize a hybrid IT environment spanning on-prem infrastructure and Microsoft Azure/M365.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systems administration and engineering across on-prem and cloud environments
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and Active Directory
- Implement security controls aligned with NIST and FISMA
- Configure and maintain:
- Servers (Windows/Linux)
- VMware environments
- Cisco networking infrastructure
- Develop STIG baselines, patch management, and monitoring solutions
- Support disaster recovery and system resilience planning
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
- 6 years in systems engineering / administration
- Strong experience with:
- Azure / Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Entra ID
- VMware
- Windows and Linux servers
- Knowledge of federal IT compliance (NIST/FISMA)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
Preferred
- Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification
- Experience with Cisco networking
- PowerShell scripting
Salary : $140,000
