Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor s Degree and 8 years or more of experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks supporting AWSbased cloud services, shared services, and platform capabilities.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing across build, deployment, and release stages.
- Develop automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and security tests for cloudnative applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps, platform engineering, and security teams to validate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments and configuration changes.
- Implement automated validation for containerized workloads and microservices deployed to Kubernetes environments.
- Support testing of AWS shared services including networking, IAM, logging, monitoring, and security tooling.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement, ensuring test automation aligns with delivery objectives.
- Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, test plans, and automation artifacts in accordance with Cloud One standards.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security controls, STIGs, and DevSecOps best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of professional experience in test automation, software testing, or quality engineering.
- Strong experience developing automated tests using Java and/or Python.
- Handson experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Experience testing applications and services deployed in AWS environments.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and related services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code testing (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience testing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps practices in a federal or regulated environment.
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
