If you thrive on precision, documentation, and hands-on problem solving, this role puts you at the heart of assembling and verifying medical devices.

Impact you’ll make
  • Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices strictly following approved procedures and visual aids.
  • Use the full suite of tools: small hand tools (manual/electric), manual presses, assembly fixtures, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
  • Reference and record with rigor: Bill of Materials, product flow charts, work orders, check sheets, production reports, and assembly drawings—capturing results as you go.
  • Perform specialized operations as needed: soldering, fabricating, crimping, mechanical assembly, sealing, ultrasonic welding, and adhesive bonding with Epoxy or RTV.
  • Handle kitting via parts lists, a scanner, and inventory software.
  • Complete routine start-up and end-of-day equipment inspections/verifications.
  • Inspect in-process work and promptly escalate any quality or operational issue to the appropriate leader.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace; engage in safety programs, meetings, and trainings; report safety concerns.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement.
  • Consistently meet quality, quantity, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements aligned with customer and Regulatory Affairs expectations; follow operating procedures for all trained products.
  • Stay alert for deviations and notify your supervisor immediately when processes do not conform.
  • Partner with Engineers and line leads to troubleshoot and update procedures for better quality and throughput.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for quality, WIP, test results, labor (timecards), and special projects.
  • Comply with all safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and ISO, QSR, and FDA regulations.
Is this you?
  • 2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience assembling, testing, and documenting mechanical and electrical devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptable; willing to take on varied tasks within a dynamic company.
  • Preferred: medical device manufacturing background.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of medical device regulatory procedures, lean manufacturing, and core manufacturing processes.
  • Skilled with tweezers, torque drivers, magnifiers, and microscopes; comfortable with small-parts assembly and microscope work.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
