The quality technician role is intended to support the inspectors as we ramp up our production.”100% onsitePay will need to coincide with experience. If they have testing experience (e.g., using Instron to test tensile strength, cleaning and maintaining equipment, calibrating tools), they’d be on the higher end of the pay scale. Less experience = lower rate. No electrical testing. Basic level inspection: Good Doc Practices, maintaining quality records. Needs to read blueprints, drawings, work with tolerances, use measuring tools. Regulated environment experience preferred – they’ll know how critical the docs are. They don’t need extensive regulatory knowledge, but they need to know documentation and accuracy are critical. Computer skills are a must – will be working in Oracle, but other ERPs are ok. Need someone detail oriented & adaptable. Manufacturing Tech titles would ok – so long as they have a baseline of inspection experience. HSD ok. Prefers industry experience over academic background. Years of experience – really more interested in the quality and relevance of experience. Notes say 10 = overqualified, but manager is open to reviewing those candidatesTop 3 skill sets:Detail Oriented and thoroughSolid base using various computer applications (Agile, Oracle, Office etc.)Fundamental Inspection knowledge. How to use measuring tools like calipers, pin gauges, and Optical Comparators and fill out inspection records.Job Description:This position, reporting to Quality Engineering Manager, is responsible for inspection, product lot release, NCMR activities and record maintenance.Primary Responsibilities:Quality Inspection and Product Release: Inspection of incoming components, subassemblies, and finished product. Review and approve all lot history records and sterile load records to ensure product compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.Quality Records: Ensure that quality records are maintained according to the quality requirements and company SOPNon-conforming Material: Generate and distribute periodic reports and follow-ups.
