A growing engineering/manufacturing team in Acton, MA is looking to add a Production Repair Technician to support product repair, testing, and quality improvements. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term growth potential.What You’ll DoAs a Production Repair Technician, you’ll be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing returned equipment—ensuring products meet quality standards before being reissued. This role is hands-on, involving mechanical repairs (such as motor replacements), documentation of findings, and close collaboration with Customer Service and Engineering.Key Responsibilities:Inspect and verify returned units, serial numbers, and RMA detailsPerform visual and functional tests to confirm and diagnose issuesUse diagnostic tools to identify root causes of failuresRepair, replace, or refurbish components following established standardsClean, calibrate, reassemble, and prepare units for return or recyclingDocument repair actions, test results, and parts used with high accuracyUpdate internal RMA systems and communicate findings to internal teamsWork closely with Engineering for recurring issues and product improvementsPartner with Customer Support to clarify customer-reported problemsWho Thrives HereHands-on technicians who enjoy opening up machines and fixing mechanical/electromechanical componentsCandidates with strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detailPeople who communicate well with cross-functional teamsIndividuals comfortable with a fast pace and maintaining consistent qualityPreferred Qualifications:Technical diploma in mechanics, electronics, or related field, or equivalent experience10 years of repair experience preferredExperience with diagnostics and mechanical or electronics repairStrong documentation and reporting skillsCompany DescriptionConnexion Systems & Engineering is a full-service staffing firm, whose mission is to provide "best in class" staffing services to our clients and job seekers alike.
