Job Title: Service Technician
Shift: M-F 8am-430pm
Notes:
- Assisting with instrument decommissioning
- Working with a fully automated system; removing parts and components from instruments
- Using standard tools and performing decontamination with a 10% bleach solution
- Following general PPE requirements (gloves, eyewear, etc.)
- Completing decontamination documentation and uploading records into Oracle and Salesforce
- Packing components for inventory or coordinating shipments to repair facility
- Assisting with crate repairs using basic tools (e.g., screwdrivers)
Interview Process:
- Onsite interview, including facility tour and overview of the role and work environment
Team Size:
- 11 team members
Preferred (Not Required):
- Basic knowledge of precision pipetting
- Familiarity with standard laboratory procedures and biohazard safety precautions
Top Required Skills:
- Functional hand tools knowledge and use
- Basic knowledge of precision pipetting, standard laboratory procedures and biohazard precautions
- cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience
- Working knowledge of schematics is desired.
- Strong attention to detail

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing service repair (i.e. testing, verifications, calibrations and parts removal) of electronic equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below
mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites.
- Prepare and maintain required service documentation.
- Performs service, maintenance, testing, calibration and verifications of instruments following
- outlined procedures.
- Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Monitor calibration status of equipment

- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
- Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.
- Exposure to blood.
Qualifications:
- Education- AA or Technical Training School
- Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement
Experience:
- 1-2 Years related experience
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Working knowledge of schematics
- Basic knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, tools and biohazard precautions.
