Job Title: Order Entry Clerk
Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri (7:30am – 4:15pm)
Job Summary:
The order entry position is a fast paced position where speed and accuracy are most important. The position is responsible for processing all types of orders, including badges, insignia, name bars, repairs and all other miscellaneous office duties including proofreading.
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders into order management systems with precision and speed.
- Review orders for completeness, pricing, part numbers, and special instructions.
- Verify and validate customer specifications for custom products.
- Communicate with sales representatives and customers to resolve order discrepancies.
- Maintain digital and physical records of order documentation as required.
- Identify and report system issues or trends in order errors to supervisors.
- Assist in clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in data entry, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good typing skills - must be able to type 35 wpm with no errors.
