Job Title: Buyer / Planner
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 (flexible based on experience)
Location: Southeastern Massachusetts
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid)

Overview

A global organization is seeking a Buyer/Planner to support its growing spare parts and service operations. With a strong international presence and a focus on innovation, sustainability, and advanced systems, the company continues to expand its aftermarket and service capabilities.

This position is part of a dedicated parts and service team that supports ongoing operations and customer needs. The role reports to a senior manager overseeing parts and service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the processing of spare parts orders, ensuring materials are properly allocated and fulfilled on time
• Track and maintain appropriate inventory and safety stock levels
• Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize and expedite critical orders
• Help develop and improve processes to support efficient supply chain operations
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and external service providers, monitoring performance and delivery standards
• Update and manage planning data, including schedules, purchase orders, and work orders
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of internal and external customer support
• Take on additional duties as needed to support team objectives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in manufacturing or supply chain is a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) and order management processes
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to adjust schedule when necessary
• Spanish language skills are a plus
