We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and executing a range of events that contribute to our corporate goals and brand visibility. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and team members, to ensure that all aspects of our events meet high standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing various corporate events, including conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rentals.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm services and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Support the development of promotional materials to market events to target audiences.
- Help manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accuracy throughout the planning process.
- Assist in the creation of event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, either through internships or professional roles.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
