Senior Architect - Design Leadership Opportunity
Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with a collaborative and forward-thinking architecture team delivering impactful projects across civic, healthcare, education, hospitality, and recreation sectors.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead projects from concept through construction while mentoring team members and driving design excellence.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with regular site visits across southern Idaho, including Boise and Pocatello. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices, contributing to innovative and high-quality project delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project design, documentation, and coordination through all major phases
- Oversee schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
- Apply advanced knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction methods
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and key project decisions
- Manage construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
- Maintain quality, consistency, and technical excellence across deliverables
- Mentor and support emerging team members within a collaborative studio environment
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- 10 years of professional architectural experience
- Licensed Architect required
- Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings
