What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teachers and Assistants position at Connersville Living Waters - Creative Kids After School Program?
About us: We are creative, fun, engaging and our goal is to encourage healthy emotional, social, educational, spiritual, and physical growth of the children in our care.
Work hours are 2 to 6 P.M., Monday through Friday, however once all children have left for home, you may also leave, as long as everything has been picked up and put away, and you will still receive pay until 6 PM.
We are seeking teacher and assistant teachers who are passionate about early childhood education and has experience working with children. The ideal candidate will have experience in tutoring, theater, babysitting, behavior management, sports coaching, daycare, and childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing lesson plans
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students who need extra help
- Assist with theater productions and performances
- Help with sports coaching during recess or after school
- Provide childcare during before and after school programs
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Patience and understanding when working with children
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
