Salary Range: Microsoft Word - Profesional Salary Annual Schedule 2024-25 (core-docs.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description: The Elementary Classroom Teacher is assigned as a generalist to deliver a comprehensive educational program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for elementary education, grades 1-8, 1-6 or K-6 or multi-subjects, grades K-8. Expected training in ""LETRS" and “The Leader in Me” behavior model.
Length of Employment: 200 Days
Effective Employment Date: August 17, 2026
