The Data Specialist is a part-time position (0.25 FTE) responsible for supporting the organization's data management and reporting functions. Working on-site, the Data Specialist will accurately enter data into the AIRS system and track the delivery of harm reduction-services.
This role is critical for maintaining data integrity and ensuring that service provision is accurately documented and reported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter client and service data into the AIRS (AIDS Institute Reporting System) database.
- Track and maintain records of harm reduction services provided.
- Conduct regular reviews of data entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Work collaboratively with program staff to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
- Assist in generating internal reports and summaries as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all data privacy and security policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of data entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Comfortable working in an office environment and using database software.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with the AIRS system or similar case management databases.
- Familiarity with harm reduction services or public health data.
Compensation: $21-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
