Connections Through Horses is seeking passionate and experienced Riding Instructor to join our dynamic team. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English and Western disciplines. A commitment to fostering a positive and educational environment for riders of all skill levels. This role involves coaching individuals and groups, and ensuring the safety and well-being of both riders and horses. PATH CTRI's are encouraged to apply!

Duties

• Conduct riding lessons for individuals and groups, focusing on skill development and safety.
• Be able to study, learn and teach our curriculum
• Monitor rider progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Be able to exercise horses by riding and sharpen their skills on a regular basis.( Max 170 pounds)
• Promote a positive learning atmosphere that encourages teamwork and personal growth.
• Maintain clear communication with riders, parents, and other staff members regarding goals and progress.
• Stay updated on best practices in equestrian training and behavior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in equestrian coaching or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of horse care, riding techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate riders effectively.
• Ability to manage behavior in a group setting while fostering a supportive environment.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring riders of all ages and skill levels.
• First aid and CPR certified
• Desire to become PATH certified

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
