What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Connections Personnel?
Utility contractor that deals with water, waste water and natural gas located in Scotch Plains is seeking a direct hire Field Tech to join their team. Office is a small, clean, professional, family owned company with two additional locations in the NJ area. Candidate will be on the road all day performing duties as a Field Tech and visiting various work sites.
HOURS: M-F 8:00am-5:00 pm w/ 30 minute lunch
SALARY: $55K - $58K (based on experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will be using company car to drive to various NJ locations to collect data on jobs.
- Must have clear, legible handwriting.
- Must have Microsoft Office to handle paperwork and enter data.
- Must have clean driving record because will be using the company vehicle to go back and forth to jobs sites and must be comfortable traveling and driving all day.
- Must have attention to detail because will need to get accurate readings for each site.
- Will be recording measurements and data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have clear, legible handwriting skills.
- Must have Microsoft Office.
- Must have clean driving record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must speak English.
- Drug screen and background done prior to starting position.
