We are seeking an amazing and talented Lead Special Education Teacher to join our team at our private special education school in Kittery, Maine! Kittery Kids Academy serves grades K-6, blending education with emotional and behavioral support services to 8-10 students.
Position: Lead Special Education Teacher
Grade Level: K-6
Location: Kittery, Maine
Salary: $65,000- $75,000 Master's in Special Education, 030 or 282
$58,000-$65,000 Bachelor's in Special Education 282, 865
Qualifications:
- Certified or Eligible for Certification in Special Education.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Love working with kids!
Summary: As the Lead Special Education Teacher for Kittery Kids Academy, you will develop IEP’s, plan curriculum, prepare instructional materials, and implement a variety of effective teaching strategies that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of our small group of students. You will work alongside our comprehensive team of educators, clinicians, BCBA, BHPs, and be an integral part of helping our students thrive and be successful! This is a full time, school year position with an abbreviated summer program.
