Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision, needs, and expectations for each event.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor negotiations, and logistics coordination.
- Arrange monthly calendar for bands, ticketed events, private functions, and attend most of the events to ensure execution.
- Manage on-site event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing attendee inquiries promptly and resolving any issues that arise during events.
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance the overall event experience while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Coordinate catering arrangements, and hospitality services to ensure a smooth flow of activities.
- Monitor budgets closely, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources without compromising quality.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement and maintain strong vendor relationships for future collaborations.
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or fundraising environments.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to increase revenue opportunities during events.
- Experience coordinating medium to large-scale events such as banquets, private parties, or corporate functions.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes along with experience managing costs effectively throughout the planning cycle.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with organizational prowess to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Background in customer service or guest relations within hospitality settings like hotels or restaurants is highly desirable.
Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
