Primary Position Objectives
Ensure timely production by expediting materials and production, tracking work orders, and coordinating across departments to resolve delays and maintain schedule commitments.
Position Responsibilities

Description of Duties
Expediting Orders
Maintains the Expediting Dashboard.
Expedite materials, manufacturing, and outside processes required to support production schedules.
Verify availability of materials, components, tooling, and resources needed for scheduled production.
Determines work order priorities.
Processes work order splits.
Production Monitoring
Monitor production schedules and track work orders through all stages of manufacturing.
Ensure jobs progress according to planned timelines and production priorities.
Identify potential delays or bottlenecks that may impact production output or delivery dates.
Develop detailed knowledge of CSS scheduling system and factors affecting the schedule.
Cross Department Coordination
Serve as a liaison between all manufacturing and support departments.
Communicate production status updates to Customer Service, Program Managers, and Management and escalate issues that could affect delivery commitments.
Work with schedulers and supervisors to adjust schedules when necessary.
Works with all departments to maintain & update work center information, including addition or subtraction of equipment and working hours.
Works with all departments to request router changes to ensure they reflect what occurs on the floor. (Is the work center correct, does the job run in multiple machines, are functions overlapped, etc.)
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of production status and expediting activities.
Responsible for answering OWO assigned actions.
Other
Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping standards.
May be required to assist or otherwise instruct other personnel.
Perform other duties as may be required.
Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Skills and Qualifications
Computer literacy
Excellent organizational skills, computer competency, mathematics skills, attention to detail.
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Communication
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments with diversified personnel.
Excellent written and oral communication and coordination abilities.
Manufacturing
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
Experience with inventory management and material requirements planning.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business preferred.
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, supply chain, or expediting roles.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to analyze problems and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
