What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLASMA SPRAYER position at Connecticut Plasma Technologies?
We are seeking a reliable individual who is interested working in a busy production environment with a strong focus on quality. The operator is responsible for the application of various coatings on customer parts through the application of plasma spray and dual wire arc. You will need to perform a variety of duties to plan, set up, and spray parts to meet customer requirements. - Set up and operate plasma spray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety procedures are followed.
- Prepare metal components by cleaning, masking, and positioning them accurately for coating application.
- Monitor the plasma spraying process, adjusting parameters as needed to achieve specified coating thicknesses and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of coated parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plasma spray equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
