Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join our exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Trumbull, Fairfield, Westport and Shelton, on any given day; contributing to high‑quality patient care across our practice.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus!
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
- Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care
- A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor
- Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting
- Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
- Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.
