The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Regulatory Compliance, Audit & Security to lead one of our most critical functions. This executive-level role is responsible for shaping the strategy, direction, and oversight of CLC’s compliance, audit, and security operations. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to complex regulatory requirements, safeguard organizational integrity, and provide trusted leadership in risk management and internal controls.

This is a high-impact role requiring collaboration across departments, strong engagement with regulators and auditors, and decisive leadership in matters of compliance, security, and operational integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regulatory Compliance

  • Lead CLC’s compliance strategy to ensure full adherence to federal, state, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, overseeing responses to audits, inquiries, and compliance reviews.
  • Manage licensing, reporting, and regulatory documentation processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop forward-looking compliance policies to align with evolving requirements.
  • Advise executive leadership on regulatory risks and proactive mitigation strategies.

Internal Audit & Risk Management

  • Design and oversee a comprehensive internal audit program to evaluate and strengthen internal controls.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations to identify vulnerabilities and drive corrective action.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through clear, strategic reporting.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and legal teams to advance enterprise-wide risk management.

Security & Operational Integrity

  • Direct physical and operational security measures to safeguard assets, systems, and processes.
  • Establish security policies and protocols consistent with best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead investigations into security incidents, compliance violations, or fraud-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, regulators, and external auditors on security matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or JD preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or security oversight, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., gaming, financial services, healthcare, or government).
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, internal audit methodologies, and security best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CIA, CFE) preferred.
