Make a Difference in the Lives of Newly Arrived Families

Our Refugee Services team is seeking a compassionate and motivated Ukrainian Case Manager to support Ukrainian individuals and families as they rebuild their lives in the United States through the GAPS Program.

In this role, you will work directly with clients to help them navigate life in a new country—connecting them with essential services, providing cultural orientation, and supporting their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is passionate about community support, cross-cultural work, and empowering newcomers.

You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated Refugee Services team and community partners to ensure that every client receives coordinated, culturally responsive support.

This position is funded through a time-limited grant and is expected to conclude on September 29, 2026.

What You’ll Do

As a Ukrainian Case Manager, You Will

  • Provide direct case management services to Ukrainian individuals and families, including developing service plans and supporting clients as they work toward their goals.
  • Conduct needs assessments and connect clients with community resources such as housing, healthcare, education, and employment services.
  • Provide cultural orientation to help clients adjust to life in the United States.
  • Offer guidance and advocacy while ensuring that clients’ rights and dignity are protected.
  • Coordinate services with community partners and collaborate with the Refugee Services team to meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation, including case notes, program forms, and tracking of client expenses funded by the grant.
  • Participate in weekly supervision meetings and bi-weekly Refugee Services team meetings.
  • Assist with program outreach and activities that promote long-term self-sufficiency for clients.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Social Work, Education, Anthropology, Psychology, International Studies, Women’s Studies, Public Health, or a related discipline
  • Two (2) years of experience in a client-facing role OR one (1) year working with vulnerable or underserved populations
  • Fluency in Ukrainian (required); Russian fluency preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and service providers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client databases

Work Environment

This role includes both office-based and community-based work and may require travel to various service locations in the region.

Because this position works with individuals and families who may have experienced displacement, trauma, or major life transitions, team members approach the work with cultural humility, professionalism, and trauma-informed care.

Why Join Our Team?

You’ll be part of a mission-driven Refugee Services team committed to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity, support, and opportunity.

Your work will have a direct impact on helping newcomers feel welcomed, connected, and empowered in their new community.
