As a Veterinary Technician, you will provide compassionate, high-quality medical care under the direction of our veterinary team. Responsibilities include:
- Providing routine preventative and medical care to shelter and owned animals
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating changes to the veterinary team
- Performing basic laboratory testing and x-rays
- Preparing patients for surgery, inducing and monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care
- Answering client questions regarding medical conditions, treatments, medications, and home care
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Providing compassionate end-of-life care when necessary
- Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to ensure timely, high-quality patient care

What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Veterinary Technician who is compassionate, confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have prior experience (2-3 years) in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter medical department
- Have strong surgical and anesthesia skills
- Have a solid understanding of animal handling and veterinary medical care
- Can think critically and contribute meaningfully to patient treatment plans
- Are comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
- Provide excellent customer service and approach every interaction with empathy and professionalism
- Are detail-oriented and comfortable working with technology and electronic medical records
- Enjoy working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly
- Bring a positive, creative, and solutions-oriented approach to your work
- Certification as a RVT, LVT, or CVT preferred.
Salary : $25 - $30
