Box Office Staff
Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, CT 06103
We are looking for Box Office Staff with shifts varying between 9:00am and 9:00pm.
Job Description
- Scan tickets and admit attendees into the event based on the validity of tickets/credentials
- Direct and queue attendees for entrance lines
- Greet guests and answer various questions to provide basic levels of assistance
- Track event attendance throughout the shift by recording turnstile counts
- Process ticket sales
- Answer various questions such as admission fees and event times
Qualifications
- Must be available to work event dates, days, and times
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work well independently, exercising good judgment, while being a team player
- Must be able to be on feet (standing, walking, bending) for extended periods of time
Scheduling Notes
Schedules are created based on anticipated event needs; however, staff may be released early based on event attendance and event needs, regardless of event closing time and staff availability. There is no guarantee of working the full available hours on any event day. Staff will only be paid for the hours that are worked, not what is scheduled.
Salary : $17 - $17
