Job Description
This strategic leadership position will manage the overall operations of the practice, ensuring a vision and strategy for future growth. The Practice Manager II also provides expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. The Practice Manager II is able to remedy most patient complaints at the time of occurrence and escalates to Practice Administrator when necessary. The Practice Manager II is responsible for upholding the Connecticut Children’s Specialty Group (CCSG) code of conduct, compliance, and vision and values of CCSG.
Responsibilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience Required: Minimum three to five years of leadership or management experience in a medical office is required. Proven track record in growing physician practice revenues and volumes. Physician Practice marketing expertise with a variety of tactics to grow and develop business.
Experience Preferred: Experience with multiple providers, staff, and specialties is preferred. Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems is highly preferred

Responsibilities
- Develops vision for practice and executes plans to achieve vision. Responsible for establishing criteria, formulating projects/initiatives, owns executing on the projects/initiatives and assessing effectiveness of results.
- Identifies strategy for growth and executes plans to achieve growth goals.
- Managing the flow of the clinic to insure compliance, efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Problem solving and addressing issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients
- Marketing the practice in the local community
- Responsible for carrying out all established policies.
- Full Profit and Loss responsibility of the physician practice, including revenue, expenses and budgeting.
- Mentoring the Practice Manager I with individual growth and individual accountability to improve career track goals.
- Directs, supervises and coaches front office and clinical staff daily.
- Mentors the clinic staff for the development of new skills.
