What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Planner position at Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association (CCAPA)?
The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and experienced professional to become our newest Transportation Planner. This position is responsible for a variety of planning activities within the Transportation Planning Department, including supporting CRCOG planning studies and working with other staff to help the Agency and municipalities complete transportation projects and initiatives, such as regional and local scenario planning analyses, walk audits,. This position reports to the Director of Transportation Planning or the Deputy Director of Transportation Planning.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Urban/Regional Planning, Urban Studies, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Compensation And Benefits

CRCOG has a minimum 35-hour work week.
Salary Range: $ 59,994 - $77,992
