What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oral Surgery Dental Assistant position at Connecticut Center for Oral Facial and Implant Surgery?
We are looking for an experienced oral surgery assistant for a fast-paced multi doctor office. Our priorities included providing a safe, pleasant, and efficient experience for our patients. We are looking for a well-organized assistant with great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a team environment. Must have certifications for ICE, radiology and BLS.
Duties:
- Provide kind and compassionate care to our patients
- Set up, breakdown and turn over operatories
- Sterilization of instruments
- Primary surgical assistant
- Assist during anesthesia and monitor vital signs under direction of the physician
- Provide pre and post operative instructions
- Take radiographs
- Stock office supplies
- Set up rooms for the following day’s schedule
Job type – Full or Part time (Friday half day)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
