Connected Wealth Management, a growing independent wealth management and financial planning firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time Wealth Management Associate to join our team.
We help successful professionals and retirees make confident financial decisions through comprehensive financial planning and personalized investment management. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys helping people, solving problems, learning new skills, and contributing to a high-touch client experience.
Financial services experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, initiative, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn. Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Office Operations
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and help ensure an exceptional client experience
• Schedule and coordinate client meetings
• Manage advisor and office calendars
• Prepare for client meetings and assist with post-meeting follow-up
• Process client requests and maintain accurate records
• Send client appreciation gifts, cards, and communications
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and office administration
Account Administration & Practice Operations
• Open new accounts and process account maintenance requests
• Maintain client records and CRM database
• Monitor account alerts, notifications, and service requests
• Assist with distributions, deposits, and required minimum distributions
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements
• Help improve workflows and operational efficiency
Financial Planning Support
• Assist clients with onboarding and access to planning tools
• Gather and organize financial planning information
• Support advisors with implementation and follow-up of planning recommendations
Technology & Marketing Support
• Help manage practice technology platforms and client communication tools
• Support the firm's paperless office initiatives
• Assist with client events, service campaigns, and marketing projects
• Identify opportunities to improve technology and operational processes
