Position Overview
We are seeking a high-level Smart Home Technician with strong experience in residential AV and low-voltage systems.
This is a leadership-track position for someone who wants to grow into a Lead Technician role and take ownership of projects in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Lead installation of residential AV and low-voltage systems
- Take ownership of job sites and ensure projects are completed to a high standard
- Install and terminate wiring (Cat6, speakers, control, etc.)
- Build and wire equipment racks
- Configure and troubleshoot systems (AV, control, networking)
- Read and interpret plans, elevations, and system designs
- Mentor apprentice and junior technicians
- Maintain clean, organized, professional job sites
- Complete daily job notes, photos, and time tracking
What You Bring
- 5 years of residential AV or low-voltage experience
- Experience with Crestron / Crestron Home
- Experience with Lutron (RadioRA3 preferred)
- Solid networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems)
- Strong rack-building and cable management skills
- Ability to read plans and system diagrams
- Clean, detail-oriented work
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Professional attitude and communication
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
