We're currently seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.
Position Summary
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting safe surgical outcomes by ensuring the proper decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. You’ll work closely with our Surgical Support team, who specialize in supporting minimally invasive procedures in the Operating Room.
This is a physically active, non-sedentary role that requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and extended time on your feet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and package surgical instruments.
- Perform proper sterilization and prepare instruments for use in surgical procedures.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless case support.
Note: If you are not yet certified, CSI will fully sponsor your certification process, including study materials, application fees, and hours needed to sit for the exam. Certification is required within 6 months of your start date.
What We Offer
Compensation:
- Uncertified: $19.00/hour
- Certified (CRCST): $20.44/hour
- Biweekly pay

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing or completion of program
- CRCST or CBSPD certification – or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- Understanding of sterilization techniques, aseptic practices, and surgical terminology
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role (lifting, walking, standing, bending)
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
- No weekends, no holidays, no call
