Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading Critical Access facility in Fairfield, IL to hire an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. If you are a compassionate ED nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, rural community hospital setting—and you’re looking for stability, teamwork, and growth—this role is for you.

As an Emergency Department RN, you will deliver high-quality patient care in a community-focused hospital environment. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients experiencing urgent and emergent health needs.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Triage and respond quickly to patient conditions and emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform necessary procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Uphold facility and healthcare safety standards and policies

• Required: Active RN license (IL or compact)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience preferred; critical access experience a plus
• Certifications Required:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• TNCC preferred
• Strong critical thinking and triage skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced rural hospital setting
