Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: Michigan RN license or compact license, BLS certification
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of LTC experience in a healthcare setting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, stamina for night shifts

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTC residents, ensuring adherence to care plans and facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate resident needs and modify care strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Execute medication administration in accordance with prescription orders and safety standards.
  • Respond effectively to emergent resident needs, providing emergency interventions when required.
