Job Description:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
- Perform triage, assessments, and interventions quickly and effectively
- Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with ED physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care and condition accurately using electronic medical records
- Respond to emergency codes and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active California RN License (unencumbered)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
