Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists with instrumentation, supplies, and patient positioning.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure sterile techniques are maintained throughout surgery.
• Prepare and maintain operating room equipment, surgical instruments, and sterile supplies.
• Document surgical procedures, patient responses, and any complications accurately.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
  
  

Schedule:

• Day shifts: Monday – Friday, 5x8s.
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active NY State RN License (Required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required.
