We are seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer (PE) to join a premier engineering team supporting projects at NASA Johnson Space Center. Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for existing facilities and building modifications.
- Perform structural calculations and analyses using industry-standard engineering principles.
- Prepare engineering reports, structural assessments, and safety documentation.
- Develop structural layouts, detailed drawings, and installation plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience with building modifications and structural design.
- Working knowledge of design standards such as AISC, ACI, and AWS D1.1.
- Proficiency with RISA-3D, ENERCALC, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and MathCAD.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a NASA badge.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Texas driver's license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
