Quality Assurance inspector

Connect Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a foam fabrication manufacturer in Waco, TX. In this role, you will inspect foam products on the production floor, audit packed goods before they ship, and document findings using a tablet. 

Pay:$20.00/hr

Schedule:6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform in-line and end-of-line inspections of foam fabrication products on the production floor to verify they meet quality standards.
• Identify, tag, and manage non-conforming products that fail to meet specifications.
• Audit packed goods prior to shipping to confirm accuracy and compliance.
• Review customer requirements and verify products meet those specifications before release.
• Identify gaps in existing QC standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Enter inspection data, audit results, and quality records into a tablet.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry into digital systems or tablets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with QC methodologies and inspection standards across multiple product categories.
• Experience performing both in-process and final inspections in a production setting.
• Background in foam, textile, packaging, or other soft-goods manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting customer specifications or work orders.
• Basic math skills applied to measurement verification and quantity auditing.
• Ability to take and record measurements accurately using standard measuring tools.
