Connect Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing plant in Riverside, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $25/hr. In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery, including lathes and CNC machines, to keep the facility running efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Set up and operate manual lathes, including older conventional models, for machining and fabrication tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures and restore equipment to working condition.
- Operate CNC machines for machining tasks as needed.
- Use Landis pipe cutting machines for pipe fabrication and cutting operations.
- Inspect equipment, identify wear or damage, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machine operation or basic CNC programming.
- Familiarity with Landis pipe cutting machines or similar pipe fabrication equipment.
- Experience reading mechanical and electrical schematics or blueprints.
- Background in a high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and maintenance logs.
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining manual lathes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
