General Labor - Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

Connect Staffing is hiring a General Labor production associate for a cylinder and pressure vessel manufacturing facility in Garden Grove, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $19.50/hr on a Monday–Friday afternoon/night schedule, with approximately 10 hours of overtime per week. In this role, you will inspect and load cylinder shells into production machines and palletize finished cylinders — products that become oxygen tanks, scuba diving tanks, and other pressure vessels. This position offers steady, long-term work with a consistent weekly schedule.

Pay: $19.50/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Inspect cylinder shells coming off production machines for defects or quality issues.
• Load cylinder shells into machines to keep production running.
• Stack and arrange finished cylinders onto pallets.
• Match production paperwork to finished product batches.
• Move product through the production floor as needed to support workflow.

Minimum Requirements

• 6 months of experience in a general labor, manufacturing, or production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in metal fabrication, welding, or machined-parts manufacturing.
• Familiarity with basic quality inspection or visual defect checks on manufactured parts.
• Experience palletizing or stacking product in a production or warehouse setting.
• Ability to read and match work orders or production paperwork.
• Experience working afternoon, evening, or extended-shift schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.

• ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance required — must be a US Person (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual as defined under ITAR).
