Connect Staffing is hiring a Deburrer (Aluminum) for an aluminum forgings manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18.50/hr on a 2nd shift schedule with weekly overtime. In this role, you will use deburring, sanding, and grinding tools to remove forging flash and excess metal from manufactured aluminum parts. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM–2:00 AM; Fridays 1:30 PM–10:00 PM; Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities
- Use deburring, sanding, and grinding tools to remove forging flash and excess metal from aluminum parts to customer specifications.
- Inspect forged parts for surface defects and ensure they meet quality standards before passing them forward.
- Keep an accurate count of completed parts and work pieces throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation in line with lean manufacturing practices.
- Report damaged or faulty equipment and any facility issues to a supervisor.
- Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times in the work area.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic math and measuring skills sufficient to read job travelers and verify part counts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deburring, grinding, or finishing metal parts in a production setting.
- Familiarity with aluminum, forged metal, or precision machined components.
- Ability to read and follow work orders or customer specification sheets.
- Experience working in a high-volume, production-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or organized shop floor practices.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or fabrication environment.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, or deburring tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and verbal).

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be able to work at a fast pace in a very hot metal and machine shop environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently an up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
- Drug screen required.

- Must be a US Citizen or US Person — this position requires compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
- Must communicate effectively in English.
