About the Roles:
Connect Search LLC is actively partnered with a leading organization in the Chicagoland area. We are currently seeking a HRBP with proven experience in talent management.
As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner works closely with both leadership and employees to align people strategies with operational goals across assigned departments or units. This position acts as an advisor to management on a range of human resources matters including employee relations, talent planning, recruitment, performance development, compensation, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP plays a key role in driving change and supporting employees through organizational growth.
The HRBP proactively identifies and addresses HR-related needs, working cross-functionally with specialized HR teams to develop comprehensive, integrated solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the business's goals and culture to effectively support leadership and employee success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for designated units, offering guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, compensation, talent development, and performance management.
- Partner with leaders to ensure HR strategies support broader business priorities.
- Lead the development and execution of complex people initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement efforts and cultural alignment.
- Advise leaders on the implementation of best practices and HR policies.
- Provide coaching on conflict resolution, performance concerns, and employee retention strategies.
- Conduct investigations related to employee complaints and ensure accurate documentation and resolution.
- Mentor and support less experienced HR Business Partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of experience in human resources or operational management, including direct experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Demonstrated project management and process improvement expertise.
- Strong facilitation and training capabilities.
- Advanced analytical skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through.
- Ability to navigate complex situations and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Salary : $40 - $45
