Connect Rentals is seeking an Accounting Manager – Revenue & Treasury to support our accounting operations and report directly to the Controller. This is a hands-on accounting role focused on revenue controls, cash management, banking activity, reconciliations, tax compliance, and reporting support in a growing business.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing accounting processes tied to revenue and cash flow. The role works closely with our Payables & Asset Accounting Manager –and helps support accurate reporting, compliance, and month-end close.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily revenue and cash control processes
- Review banking activity and reconcile transactions to internal systems
- Monitor customer payments, posting accuracy, and cash application
- Prepare and support bank reconciliations
- Log and track rental taxes, including HEIT, MVR, and similar tax items
- Prepare weekly cash and revenue reporting for leadership
- Assist with month-end close related to revenue, cash, and treasury accounts
- Prepare tax filings, property renditions, and related compliance documentation as assigned
- Support lender reporting and internal accounting procedures
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Help improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and internal processes
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Strong accounting experience required
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with cash controls, bank reconciliations, revenue-related accounting, and close processes
- Experience with tax filings, reporting, or compliance support is preferred
- Experience with ABL, lender reporting, treasury support, or borrowing base reporting is a plus
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well across departments
