We believe in creating a positive and supportive environment in which our clients and employees can thrive.POSITION DETAILSAs a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy, whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in the community.As a Behavior Technician, you will:Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community environmentsFollow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address and improve deficitsImplement behavior plans created by the BCBACollect data through observation and submit detailed session notesParticipate in training and team meetingsCollaborate with supervisors and peersSome of the areas you will address with your client may include:Language acquisitionFunctional communication trainingSocial skills trainingDaily living skillsDecreasing maladaptive behaviorsCommunity safety skillsToilet trainingExecutive function trainingREQUIREMENTSMust have current RBT certificationMust have experience working as a BT or RBT in Applied Behavior Analysis Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)Must be at least 18 years of ageEffective communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong work ethicAbility to obtain required certifications and training (i.e. First Aid)Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's licenseAbility to pass a criminal background check including FBI and child abuse clearancesAPPLY NOW At Connect n Care, we only want to hire people who care about changing lives as much as we do.
