What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Specialist position at Connect Life Sciences?
Leads the Supply Chain and Planning aspects of TRD RLT Pilot Plant, consisting of raw material supply, forecast, operational planning, finished product logistics.
During build-up phase and S4HANA SAP implementation project, coordinate and represents Pilot Plant organization in design, acceptance testing and adopt phases.
Main activities
- Has operational responsibility for Supply Chain aspects, from starting materials to finished products shipment to clinical centers, including planning. Coordinates external service providers
- Manages key vendors for supply chain and logistics services.
- Owns and Executes Business continuity management for supply chain aspects
- Coordinate Pilot Plant team participation and information flow for S4/HANA SAP implementation in the site, in collaboration with team leads.
- Lead local phases of S4/HANA SAP implementation, such as User Acceptance Testing.
- Act as Pilot Plant SPOC for TRD global functions and SAP team.
- Provide SAP expertise and knowledge for all other associates of Pilot Plant.
- Acts as a subject matter expert Supply Chain and represents RLT Pilot Plant Warehouse & Logistics in relevant RLT and TRD Networks.
- Ensures operational discipline and GMP/HSE adherence within Warehouse & Logistics.
- Sets key milestones and ensures performance, quality and budget adherence in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Lead.
- Identifies process gaps and opportunities for improvements. If necessary, aligns with Process Expert and GMP/HSE Officer and develops solutions.
- When nominated, acts as project leader / member for process improvement activities.
- Ensures Warehouse & Logistics deliverables are met according to supply performance, timelines, budget and quality/compliance standards.
- Acts as System Owner for assigned systems and equipment as listed in Validation Master Plan.
- Supports major Deviations, Quality Events and Change Requests, ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are established.
Additional specific roles/tasks
During Pilot Plant build-up phase as well as S4/HANA SAP implementation, act as SAP implementation expert for about 75-80% of the time, with remaining percentage used to build-up the Supply Chain aspects of the plant.
With Pilot Plant operational phase start-up, transition to 100% Supply Chain senior expert, keeping SAP expertise for the plant. Act as Supply Chain Lead deputy where needed.

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
