What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Sourcer position at Connect Assistant Resource?
Connect Assistant Resource is proud to support a fast-paced, tech-forward company in its search for a people-savvy, relationship-driven Talent Sourcer / Recruiter to join the team.
This role is about more than experience on paper; it’s about finding someone who thrives on connecting with others, spotting potential, and building teams where culture fit matters just as much as skills. If you’re adaptable, energized by relationships, and excited to help shape the future of a growing organization, this could be the perfect fit.
This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into the heart of an established but scaling company. You’ll play a key role in shaping the organization’s future by connecting the right people to the right roles, while gaining hands-on experience in a company that values innovation, culture alignment, and genuine connections.
In this role, you’ll:
- Report directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition and partner with leaders and teams across OKC, Tulsa, and Lenexa to understand their needs, connect with the right people, and bring in talent that will thrive long-term.”
- Source and screen candidates with a focus on culture alignment and long-term fit
- Conduct thoughtful, personalized phone interviews (no templated scripts here!)
- Collaborate with departments to understand their needs and adapt recruiting efforts accordingly
- Help build brand awareness by supporting outreach efforts to schools and local markets
- Contribute to the continued evolution of a nimble, people-centered recruiting process
We think the right fit is:
- Steady and dependable, with a positive outlook and strong follow-through
- An emotionally intelligent communicator who can adapt quickly and pick up on what’s not being said
- Independent and confident in taking initiative, while still open to learning and mentorship
- Energized by working in a dynamic environment and able to build genuine connections across all personality types
- Curious and growth-minded, comfortable with feedback, and eager to share ideas
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, even if you haven’t held a traditional recruiter or HR title. If you have experience building strong relationships, connecting people to opportunities, or working in roles where reading people and building trust were central, we’d love to hear from you.
To be successful here, you should also bring a track record of stability in your past roles and some exposure to recruiting or people-focused work that shows you understand what it takes to connect the right person with the right opportunity.
While not required, familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, job boards, or social media platforms as sourcing channels is a plus (and training is available).
In exchange for these qualities, the company is happy to offer an annual salary of $45,000–$50,000, dependent upon experience, along with a benefits package that includes health insurance, dental, vision, and life insurance, PTO/holiday days, 401K with 4% match, free daily catered lunch, and certification reimbursement and performance-based raises.
