About the Role:
The Vice President of Patient Operations plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of patient care delivery within the healthcare organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that patient services are efficient, effective, and aligned with the organization's mission to provide high-quality care. The role involves strategic planning, operational management, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes. The Vice President will lead initiatives to improve patient flow, resource allocation, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement in patient operations to support sustainable growth and excellence in healthcare services.
This is a hybrid position; the candidate will be expected to occasionally work from our HQ in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or patient services.
- Demonstrated experience managing large teams and complex healthcare operations.
- Experience with remote patient monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve operational performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a multi-facility healthcare system or large hospital network.
- Certification in healthcare quality or management (e.g., FACHE, CPHQ).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
- Experience leading change management and organizational development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient care delivery and satisfaction.
- Oversee daily patient operations, including admissions, discharge processes, and patient flow management.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure alignment of patient care protocols and operational practices.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance programs.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyze operational data and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with IT and other departments to leverage technology solutions that enhance patient operations.
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
