Purpose
The purpose of the Data Integrity Specialist role is to:

Serve as a core Lifeline Financial Services Operations team member within our Analytics team, providing exceptional service and supporting stakeholders such as Operations, Sales, Contracts, Finance, Marketing, IT, and other business partners. This team is responsible for driving the accuracy and integrity of data, reporting and analytics that supports the Lifeline organization, which includes serving as a subject matter expert for data and system maintenance, finance related support and processes including Pricing, Internal Controls, KPI reporting and EDI functions that ensures daily operations to eliminate billing implications to end users.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Executing billing system tasks
    and customer account activities that support Lifeline business units to ensure accurate and timely billing, contract compliance and resolution of customer pricing requests and financial operations issues
  • Monitoring and maintaining data for accuracy and integrity to support Financial Operations, Analytics and Reporting, and Internal Control testing functions
  • Supporting various EDI transactions to ensure billing submissions and interfaces are performing as designed
  • Assisting with analysis, reporting and resolution of billing functions, pricing, subscriber transitions/conversions, contractual and compliance related communication and risks, and data integrity across various systems thru multiple communication methods
  • Assisting with administration of payer clearinghouses/websites/portals and external interfaces to successfully maintain the electronic and/or systematic billing processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders such as Operations, Sales, Contracts, Finance, Marketing, and IT departments to ensure smooth project implementations and the resolution of Financial Operations requests or discrepancies
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with 3rd party vendors, payers, clearinghouses, and/or trading partners to support EDI operations
  • Capturing and maintaining timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of processes, data and reporting standards for Pricing, Internal Controls and EDI functions in both manual and electronic platforms
  • Facilitating teach backs and process improvements to further the success of Lifeline Financial Operations
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required and/or assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Finance or related course of study
  • 1 years reporting, data maintenance and billing system experience
  • 1 years EDI medical billing with intermediate knowledge of healthcare EDI processes and standard formats
  • Technically savvy with a high aptitude to learn new programs, system integrations, business processes and comfortable using software, including (but not limited to):
    • Billing and Reporting software, MS Office, Insurance Portals, and Electronic Claims Submissions.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and SharePoint skills a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills; good at finding ways to standardize and improve, championing quality and a continuous improvement mentality
  • Ability to gain the cooperation of others in pursuit of process excellence using strong written and verbal communication skills.
