What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at ConMet Plastics?
Are you passionate about the career in Quality in a manufacturing sector? ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking for an experienced Quality Auditor to support our Operations departments.
This is a day shift position: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
What You Will Do:
Perform in-process inspections of manufactured goods.
Provide auditing support to other areas as directed or requested by management.
Perform 1st
piece inspection and approval of product quality prior to start of production run.
Perform specialized quality testing such as gloss, color analysis, film thickness, adhesion, caliper measurements etc. that may be required by the part specific work instructions.
Document shift activities on the area Audit Report.
Document and controls non-conforming products; complete HOLD tag reporting per work instruction, as needed.
**What You Need to Be Successful:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).2 years of related experience and/or training.
